About the founder
Champion Coders Coding club is created in January 2019 by Miss Phary Phal.
Miss Phal, a Cambodian Australian, who migrated to Australia in 2006 to pursue higher education. She completed her Masters of Applied finance and Master of Accounting from University of Western Sydney. She then also become a Certified Public Accountant in Australia whilst working as a full time Tax and Self-Managed-Superfund Accountant at a Chartered Accountants firm locates at North Sydney.
Miss Phal has always had a keen interest in I.T and has been coding as a hobby whilst working as an accountant. In addition, she also gave private tutoring sessions to kids in Australia to fuel her passion and also keeping abreast with coding world.
Coding was seeing an unprecedented rise in Australia since 2017 and Phary was keenly following it due to her being a passionate hobbyist coder. While visiting Cambodia in 2018, Phary found that there were no independent coding clubs/institutions for kids or adults.
Phary then formed her team consisting of professional programmers with background in teaching to setup Champion Coders and she herself underwent rigorous training with Coding Kids Australia which is one of the leading coding club in Queensland to be able to provide the best quality of coding education to kids in Cambodia.
About Champion Coders
Champion Coders Meteoric Rise in Cambodia: Champion Coders started in Cambodia in January 2019. What followed took everyone by surprise. Champion coders started with 15 students in January 2019 and by August 2019, champion coders was educating in excess of 200 students along with summer camp in Harrod’s International school.
Recently Champion Coders partnered with ETC International School and also Rahma International School providing Block-based-coding and Robotic course to their students.
Champion Coders is also tying up with Dino Alive Park to provide a short coding sessions to kids who visit the park under a special package offer.
Coding is going to be extremely important as the world adapts/invents new technology and Cambodia as a country needs to be ready and prepared to embrace this change.
Champion coders vision is to provide a quality education in computer programming to prepare the kingdom’s for the digital future
